About Russell
Hi there, and thanks so much for visiting my site! My name is Russell, and I'm a professional photographer based out of Bentonville in the heart of Northwest Arkansas, as well as a devoted husband and father of two crazy kiddos whom I love dearly.
I began taking pictures after the birth of our second child in 2016 and—to the occasional annoyance of my friends and family—was soon capitalizing on every opportunity to capture the authentic "in-between" moments in our lives: the children eating dinner, friends hanging out on the porch, heading out on the town… I loved how photography could elevate event the seemingly mundane into something truly beautiful, and I’m honored to say that my work has resonated with others and pushed me to focus even more broadly on how I can elevate the stories of those around me.
My philosophy on photography is also in an extension of my marketing background. Having spent nearly 11 years of my career in marketing for a Fortune 100 company, I know that it all comes down to who your audience is and what message you want to impart on them. What story are you trying to tell? Are your images personal memories or keepsakes just for you? Are they marketing materials to build your personal brand or business? Are they just a way to share what life looks like these days with other friends and family? I’m here to work with you to beautifully capture the moments that will relate your message.
